Antoinette L. Williams of Mount Vernon was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday after being stopped in her Mercedes 350 on Route 17 in the Town of Mamakating for various traffic violations, said Trooper Steven Nevel, spokesman for the New York State Police.

During the stop, officers determined that Williams was driving intoxicated, and after being transported to the Wurtsboro barracks submitted to a chemical test which showed she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.09 percent, Nevel said.

Williams was given several traffic tickets and is set to appear in the town of Mamakating Court on April 12.
